... but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
Salvation

Jesus Christ had to pass through Samaria, worn out by the trip, sat down at the well, it was noon.  A Samaritan woman came to draw water; this woman had many needs in her heart, she was living with a man who was not her husband and also was man number five in her life.  Loneliness, sadness, frustration, depression, hopeless where part of her daily life.  In many areas of our life we are like this woman expecting the unknown; knocking on many doors that never open and trying to live a life without a purpose or hope for the future.  When Jesus saw the Samaritan woman he knew what was happening in her life; Jesus then asked her for water from the well, the woman responded in a negative way as a result of difficult years in her past and questioned Jesus.  Jesus answered, "If you knew the generosity of God and who I am, you would be asking me for a drink, and I would give you fresh, living water."   Jesus is teaching us that all those who are thirsty can come and drink of His eternal life.

Once you understand that man/woman has emptiness in his/her heart that he/she is a sinner by nature, and that it is necessary to be a child of God. Many questions will come to you as: How can I fill this emptiness? How can Jesus offer me a different life?

The first thing you need to know is:

SALVATION IS FREE

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23

Going to heaven is free; there is nothing you can do to earn your salvation.  “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not ourselves; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

You receive salvation by faith, we have to believe in our heart and confess with our mouth: He is Lord and begin to live according to God’s guidelines

You need to follow the next steps:

ADMIT YOU ARE A SINNER

Romans 5:12 (The Message)

The Death-Dealing Sin, the Life-Giving Gift

12-14  You know the story of how Adam landed us in the dilemma we're in— first sin, then death, and no one exempt from either sin or death. That sin disturbed relations with God in everything and everyone, but the extent of the disturbance was not clear until God spelled it out in detail to Moses. So death, this huge abyss separating us from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses. Even those who didn't sin precisely as Adam did by disobeying a specific command of God still had to experience this separation from God. But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the One who will get us out of it.

YOU MUST REPENT OF YOUR SIN

Proverbs 28:13 (The Message)

13  You can't whitewash your sins and get by with it; ?  You find mercy by admitting and leaving them.

YOU MUST CONFESS YOUR SIN

1 John 1:8-9 (The Message)

8-10  If we claim that we're free of sin, we're only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins—make a clean breast of them—he won't let us down; he'll be true to himself. He'll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing. If we claim that we've never sinned, we out-and-out contradict God—make a liar out of him. A claim like that only shows off our ignorance of God.

YOU MUST CONFESS JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR

Romans 10:9 (New Living Translation)

9  If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

If you are thirsty and want to drink of the living water that only comes from Jesus and be SAVED please repeat this prayer out loud:

Dear Father God, I recognize I am a sinner and that my sin separates me from you. Right now I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. I believe Jesus was raised from the dead.  Jesus I invite you to come into my heart and into my life. I break every covenant that I have made with the enemy with my flesh and with the world.  I repent of every sin I have committed and right now I receive the gift of salvation and eternal life. Amen
