Praising and worshiping God is an amazing time. When you invest time to praise God you are surrounded by His amazing love, resting in his arms is when you finally find out what love means. God is an amazing Lord and there’s no other like Him.
John 12:3 (New International Version)
Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
What we can learn from what Mary did:
Praising and worshiping God requires sacrifice, you need to bring before God things that are of value to you, bring your best attitude, time, song and love. You have to recognize God as your supreme Lord and owner. Everything you have belongs to Him; your life, family, business, properties and all your belongings.
Do not ask him for things you need, give Him your time, respect, love and song. The essence of God in your life should be perceived by everyone around you, the love and joy of the Holy Spirit will flow through you.
What you need to do to start praising and worshiping God:
Find a peaceful place where you can invest time singing songs and praying to God. Confess and repent of your sins allowing His presence to come upon you. Pray for His presence, declaring you need Him more than anything in life. Do not ask for anything just enjoy the time of praising and worshiping. Tell Him all the secrets of your heart and allow Him to visit your heart and change your life. Repeat this every day trying to invest more and more time with Him.
